Info: Blade & Soul, developed by NCSOFT’s Team Bloodlust, tells the story of players’ quest for vengeance and redemption against a backdrop of Asian fantasy, set in a beautifully crafted online world. Blade & Soul prominently features martial arts inspired combat and Windwalking movement, as depicted in classic martial arts adventure films.

Blade & Soul delivers an engaging story and vibrant world for players to explore. In the game, players must fight to avenge the death of their fallen master in a classic Wuxia storyline. Wuxia, which literally means “martial hero”, is a broad genre of Chinese fiction concerning the adventures of martial artists in ancient China. As players explore the world in Blade & Soul, they will see a fusion of Asian cultures that delivers stunning landscapes and vistas.

Blade & Soul features action-based combat with ability combos and a flexible party role system that does not require dedicated healers. It gives players unprecedented movement abilities around the world as their characters leap over mountains and fly through the air.

or u can sell gold for in game premium currency to other players using build in game currency exchange system similar to what blizzard did upgrading wow token lately but thay let u set the price ur self but ok …

    • Abbon

save your time, dont play the game. Really really combo oriented. Once u get stun chained, its basically GG. Too many stuns, daze, knockdowns n shit.

    • Ami .

this game is broken.if you play EU you get disconnected after you fill in your passcode

Avoid it. Servers are plagued with bots and hackers at endgame who havent been banned (even after dozen reports from different ppl). While the story is great, anything beyond is garbage and the developer doesnt care. Support is also pretty much bot only responses or in other words: no support. GameGuard was suppose to take care of teleport hackers and bots but didnt do any harm to them instead it lowers the legitimate players framerate so massively down that open world becomes unplayable with an average pc. Similar games with the same game engine dont have these issues so its definately on the end of BnS development.

In case anyone is still checking this game out and are discouraged by the reviews, the game is still updating, balancing and improving itself. Plenty of updates/events.

Fun character customization. Combat is amazing and different classes give different play styles. Decent internet is required especially if you like pvp (though some classes need lower ping than others).
      Two kinds of pvp:
      > Open World- equipment matter (wear uniforms to activate)
      > Arena- equalized
I enjoyed the story (a couple holes but really excellent for an mmo imo). Its NOT P2W as the store only sells mostly costumes for aesthetic (great farmable costumes are available though). More updates are lessening grind for weapons as well.
Bots are reportable and few (at least in my server Yunwa/Juwol).
      Community is friendly enough.
Graphics are neat and fun but cater mostly to anime fans (you can customize them to be more realistic-ish though).

End game consists of dungeons, world bosses, and pvp. PVE is ok but its PVP that makes this game shine. Good game overall imo.

pay to win yeah sure orrrr u can sell gold for in game premium currency to other players using build in game currency exchange system similar to what blizzard did upgrading wow token lately but they let u set the price ur self but ok … ohh and i have max fps ( 121 ) almost all of the time ( like really i only drop for a sec after loads witch is normal for every game like this one ) with a pc that building costed me 1700$ last year and my friend dont drop below 70 fps with max out settings on a ~500$ build ( with the same ultrawide screen 34″ 2560x1080p monitor witch eats ~30% more out of graphics cards than standard 1080p monitors ) so who ever said it has fps drops using gameguard either had really bad pc or tried to hack him self … not mention that bots and hackers are every were i my self were reporting one spam bot every day for more than a month in wow just to see when they actually gonna ban him … and if someone dislikes an mmo game only thx to spam bots and ” hackers ” witch in reality are only kids using third party install and ready to use programs witch are not real hackers to me than why not start playing only offline rpgs because there is not an single mmo fully free of ” hackers ” and bots … i my self came to like this game after just two weeks of playing what i dint like was bugs and useless items they just forgot to delete on the EU after wings patch but in those two weeks they already fixed few of the bugs i reported so maybe EU part of the development team is lazy but they do fix it after someone points it out for them and call them unprofessional to leave so obvious bugs behind … in overall i give B&S EU 7/10 ( and yes its good … warlords of dreanor has been given 5/10 by me legion 7/10 and wow overall as im an old veteran has 8/10 ) and the only serious differences between these titles is that wow is pay to play and they get obvious bugs fixed quite fast but after all its A PAY TO PLAY and B&S is FREEEEEEE to play u see the real difference now ? … plus B&S has really beautiful visuals when maxed out visuals get 9/10 from me same as maxed out legion … those are my honest thoughts on this game after 2 weeks of playing ~3h a day and im already lvl 50 hm lvl 5 and in a week or so ill get my first legendary weapon playing fully for FREE. Thank you for reading this so far, good luck and good bye ?
