Info: RuneScape 3 is a the latest edition in the long-running free MMORPG series from Jagex. RuneScape offers a fully featured free-to-play game, with a popular subscription option of even greater scale and ambition, both running directly within almost any computer¡¯s browser.

Still hate the fact that f2p has a limited play area. Jagex only cares about money. EoC also spoiled the game imo.

You kidding? RuneScape’s free-to-play content is far more extensive than your average fantasy game! And their membership is much cheaper than most!

oh my fake god this sucks! I remember way back when I used to play Runescape 2 in 4th-6th grade. Little did I know it was a fish trap with constant level grinding. They easily entice you into paying a monthly subscription giving you more and more and more things to keep you stuck in their web.

Its hardly even worth calling “runescape 3”. its derived off the fullscreen engine that they used to have except made even worse. This game doesn’t even look like it came from 2013. It looks like a bad 80s movie.

lol why is additional content bad? They’re not forcing you to play. As for the lack of graphics, yes, it is limiting, but the gameplay makes up for it imo.

I’ve played this since late ’07, and it’d already changed so much from how it was originally to when I joined. 7 years on and it’s changed dramatically again – in some ways negatively, personally speaking, but mostly positively. I don’t really like the new combat system, and I stopped playing for months because of I couldn’t get the hang of it and preferred it when it was simpler, but I’ve gotten used to it now. Also I can appreciate how frustrating it is to be trapped without memberships once you’ve got into more quests, acquired more items and explored more of Gielinor. But Jagex need to be able to afford to keep the game running so a little help by having their most loyal players pay a small amount for extras isn’t that bad. I do kind of miss the Random Events and little things like that that made the game unique from others. Now it sort of feels it’s heading to the direction of every other generic RPG. Although I wouldn’t stop playing unless it made major changes I didn’t like. It’s still playable and likeable enough for me, and a fiver a month for memberships, can’t go wrong with that really!

When you can’t pay your taxes they take your home but they tell you if you can’t pay just sell the house. If they can’t afford to keep the game going then they should go do something they can do. People will pay if the game is good if not fuck em
