You go to the website, download/register and start the installer… once installed you start the launcher and login?

This game here is actually not bad. Downloaded it yesterday and it really looks very promising. PvP and PvE, though i didn’t test PvP yet, and PvE is still very limited (still didn’t rank up and it seems there is just one (1) playable PvE mission available atm at the first rank). Seems to take much time to level up, which isn’t actually bad though. Graphics are really fine, also performance is really good, i could play it on almost highest settings (i just disabled bloom) with a GTX 460 GPU and a C2D E 8400 CPU in full HD and it is very fluid gameplay.

Sound is still a bit weak, enemies shooting you sound like pea shooters, and there is always this one tune repeating so i switched music off completely, for now.

Today morning i wanted to play, there was a new update though and even though everyone could log in, no one actually could play, seems there were some issues still with the servers.

Game is still in BETA, so… np.

If the developers continue adding missions and gear, and keep providing new content, this might become a really popular game.

Imagine a game where you can’t be yourself. Instead, you have to be what a clique of prudish GM’s want you to be. Star Conflict is a game where you’ll be monitored, micromanaged and censored as if you are in a child daycare.

I played it for a month and spent $40 on it. I regret it. I do not recommend Star Conflict.

On their web site, they have Terms of Use which is aok and easy to agree to. You get involved and spend an unforeseeable amount of time before you get hit with chat bans because there’s some other set of rules elsewhere online that you never knew about. I would never have agreed to such narrow-minded rules. I wish I had known about this before I spent time and money on Star Conflict. I will not be involved in anything where I can’t be an uncensored adult.

This game was good before the idiot developers removed the squads, and added infinite grind. RIP StarConflict
